The Piana of Castelluccio di Norcia is a highland which belongs to the Monti Sibillini national park, on the Umbria side. In late spring and early summer it’s possible to admire a unique event: the flowering, better known from the locals as “fiorita”. During my trip to this magical land, I saw this extraordinary spectacle of nature. The fields are so colorful: from the yellow of the repeseeds and the dandelions to the bright red of the poppies and the blue and violette of the cornflowers. I had the feeling that I was in front of a Monet painting. I admired the landscape silently, then i took some pictures. A field of wildflowers which I tried to represent in a blurred way.
